The regional representative body of fwd: Bundesvereinigung Veranstaltungswirtschaft e.V. in North Rhine-Westphalia has undergone a reorganisation of its staff. In future, its work will focus on member recruitment, enhancing the sector’s appeal as an employer, sector-wide marketing and political advocacy.

Freiburg was named the winner in the ‘Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation, Brand Communication – Classic Campaign’ category at the German Brand Award 2026. This recognised the annual tourism campaign #ganzschönRAUSKOMMEN as an outstanding example of strategic brand management and contemporary communication in the German-speaking world.

Augsburg, 1 July 2026 – The Federal Association for Industrial Communication (bvik) is undergoing a significant change to its six-member honorary Executive Board: Rainer Pfeil, who has been a board member and treasurer since the association was founded in 2010, is stepping down from his post on 30 June 2026. Melanie Lammers has been appointed on an interim basis as his successor.
