Aachen’s new summer hotspot: lemonpie Eventcatering opens the Kur.Garten at the Kurhaus Aachen

On 14 June, the spacious terrace at the refurbished Kurhaus celebrated its opening. Run by lemonpie Eventcatering, it serves fresh garden-style cuisine with regional touches – many dishes served in the handy Kur.Glas. Open daily from 11.30 am to 8.00 pm, weather permitting.

With numerous guests and a relaxed atmosphere, the new Kur.Garten celebrated its opening on Sunday 14 June. To mark the open day, the spacious terrace at the newly refurbished Kurhaus Aachen was unveiled to the public for the first time. The result is a new meeting place for anyone wishing to enjoy a relaxing break surrounded by greenery right in the heart of the city.

An oasis with Kurhaus charm

Set amongst the mature trees and the unique charm of the historic Kurhaus, the Kur.Garten has become a place that invites you to unwind, take a deep breath and simply enjoy the moment. The terrace offers a stunning view of the park and spa gardens, creating an atmosphere that combines an urban retreat with the tranquillity of nature.

Fresh garden cuisine meets Kur.Glas

Culinary-wise, the Kur.Garten focuses on modern, uncomplicated garden cuisine featuring high-quality ingredients, regional touches and seasonal produce. The menu features colourful salad variations as well as currywurst classics and homemade desserts – from creamy rice pudding to apple crumble and lemon pie. These are served alongside speciality coffees and refreshing drinks. Numerous vegetarian and vegan options also complement the culinary offering.

At the heart of the concept is the Kur.Glas: many dishes are lovingly presented in screw-top jars, inviting you to put together your own personalised menu – savoury or sweet, vegetarian or vegan. If you’d like, you can have a Kur.Garten bag packed for you and take it to your favourite spot.
