New hall standards provide greater planning certainty

The industry associations BDKV and INTHEGA have published a joint “Technical Recommendation on Venue Standards”. For the first time, this defines standard technical specifications for event venues with up to 800 or up to 2,500 seats.

The recommendations are intended to make technical requirements more comparable and reduce the coordination effort between event organisers and venue operators. This allows planning processes to be organised more efficiently at an early stage.

The publication is particularly relevant for location scouts, technical directors and corporate planners. Standardised venue standards simplify the planning of tours, guest performances and corporate events, and provide greater certainty during technical preparations.
