HOGA is the meeting place for Bavaria’s hospitality professionals. The event is organised by DEHOGA Bayern, which, together with BTG Bayern Tourist, welcomes its members at its large exhibition stand and offers networking opportunities. Key topics include the next generation of professionals and vocational training. Competitions are planned to give young talent in the sector the opportunity to showcase their skills at HOGA.
In HOGA’s new themed area, various exhibitors, together with the German Holiday Home Association (DFV) and the German Tourism Association (DTV), will present solutions and products for holiday let providers, such as booking systems, kitchen fittings, software and door locking systems.
In cooking demonstrations on the “HOGA Main Stage sponsored by Selgros” in Hall 3, chefs will showcase the latest trends and offer tips for day-to-day work. In the HOGAnovum, industry start-ups will present their forward-looking ideas and innovative concepts. Also taking part are the winners and finalists of the Gastro Innovation Awards 2027. The German Coffee Championships organised by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) in the disciplines of Barista, Latte Art and Coffee in Good Spirits will take place at HOGA 2027 in Nuremberg. Alongside this, there will be an extensive range of offerings centred on coffee, a key revenue generator in the catering sector. The focus here will be on roasters, coffee machines, milk and milk alternatives. Pizza championships are also planned for HOGA 2027.
HOGA Nuremberg will take place from 17 to 19 January 2027 at Messe Nuremberg. The trade fair for the hotel, catering and commercial kitchen sectors showcases innovative offerings, high-quality foodstuffs and useful products in the areas of food & beverage, hospitality, interior design and kitchen technology, as well as services and IT solutions. Trending topics such as regional or international specialities, non-alcoholic spirits and drinks, and digital innovations will also be showcased. Experts will discuss current challenges facing the industry, whilst workshops, talks and cookery demonstrations round off the trade fair experience. HOGA has a new visual identity and is presenting itself with a revamped logo and new colours. This gives HOGA a more modern look, whilst retaining its connection to the Bavarian hospitality industry.
The Gastro Innovation Award is entering its next round: interested start-ups and companies can apply with their innovative ideas for the hospitality industry and win an exhibition stand at HOGA. The winners of the Gastro Innovation Award 2027 will be announced during the grand finale at the trade fair’s opening.
