As part of the partnership, the Event Academy will be offering an exclusive monthly webinar from January 2027, in close collaboration with the isdv. The initiative addresses precisely those areas where the needs of sole traders are greatest in their day-to-day working lives: The collaboration addresses the specific needs of the association’s members and provides tailor-made, immediately applicable procedures and solutions for a wide variety of business challenges. Likewise, the expertise of practitioners will facilitate new career entry points and the professional development of entrepreneurs.
“Through this partnership, we are building an excellent bridge between high-calibre professional development and practical association work,” emphasises the isdv. “Our members gain direct access to sound, wide-ranging specialist knowledge that is precisely tailored to their needs as self-employed professionals in the events industry.”
The monthly online seminars are aimed at all industry participants:
For isdv members, the webinars are free or available at specially discounted participation fees.
Prospective members and non-members are also warmly invited and can benefit from this specialist knowledge at fair and transparent participation fees.

In light of constantly changing legal provisions and technical standards, participants will be brought up to date on the latest regulations in a concise and clear manner, whilst being reminded of the rules that remain in force. As 2027 progresses, the series will be supplemented by topics relevant to everyday practice:
